It's from the bottom of our hearts and then some we send to you this HUGE THANK YOU to all of you who volunteered your time to support us as the Chairs, the event and community! We could not have accomplished without all of you. Thank you to those who came out on Friday to set up, Dave & Dave for the kitchen duty at 5am, for those who were at the early shifts all the way to the clean up... The start up and cleanup was a breeze! We were not sure how the day would play out as we started with our big yellow booths blown down in the night! Most appreciative of those who graciously worked with us on the changing of shifts and duties in the early hours as we awaited our first customers :) You all made it work! Thank you Joan & Don for the run to get jalapenos, Mike Peters for running point with Gary to get thru the crowd and run to Pavilions. Those who stayed till the end and Josh Muller who always shows up in time to use his muscle to hall the booths down the ramp to our storage and Princess Laura and her golf cart for carting all the clean equipment back to the garage!
We had an incredible day in-spite of the weather ~ Here is what your hard work produced!
We served 175 Breakfast ~ 954 Lunches for $6,213 in revenue.
We had 27 Lion Volunteers, 16 SB Leos, 5 VBA Leos for a total of 223 hours.
We had all shifts filled for the Car Opportunity Drawing and sold 15 tickets.
Gary and I are so blessed to serve with all OUR Lions Family and this wonderful community, thank you again for your support of this event and us..
Now let's kick up the heat and get our 750 car tickets sold! I am calling on all of you to help make this the best event ever, by sitting with the car, checking out tickets to sell, talking it up on your Facebook pages, take flyers with you and share with the community and ask your fellow Lions to do the same. We Serve...let's get this done!
